Current information on your security procedures: change your TAN procedure now

The requirements of the Second European Payment Services Directive (PSD2) make it necessary for all banks to replace the iTAN (paper-based TAN-list) as a security procedure and to replace it with modern procedures such as the convenient photoTAN procedure. Please understand that we have to adapt to the regulatory changes and that in future you will only be able to execute your orders using procedures such as the free photoTAN.

In this context, a note will soon be displayed in online banking after you log in. You are asked to decide on a new TAN procedure for the approval of your transactions in online and mobile banking. It is best to choose the free photoTAN procedure now to approve transfers, standing orders and direct debit returns in online and mobile banking simply and conveniently.

To set up photoTAN, select "Security procedures" > "request photoTAN procedure now" > "request activation letter" in online banking. Then download Deutsche Bank's free "photoTAN" app from the respective App Store.

More information about photoTAN can be found at:
For questions about activation, we are also available around the clock at (069) 910-10029.
